The Central Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final results of the Engineering Services Examination 2020. Karad's Charudatta Mohanrao Salunkhe has come first in the country in the Mechanical Engineering section of this examination. 495 posts will be filled through Engineering Service Examination. Charudatta Salunkhe's success story inspires students in rural areas-
Charudatta Salunkhe is the son of Mohanrao Salunkhe, a middle class clerk in a private institution and Sangita Salunkhe, a primary school teacher. He started his academic career with the best marks in the matriculation examination. After 10th, he completed 12th from SGM College Karad with 92.33 percent in Science. He obtained 184 marks in MHT-CET examination from 12th Science branch and obtained the degree of Mechanical Engineering in the Autonomous College, College of Engineering, Pune with special proficiency.
Job in a private company is in hand and chose government service -
While Charudatta Salunkhe was in his final year from CoEP College, he decided not to take a job in the private sector even though he had job opportunities from one of the dominant private companies. Charudatta's goal is to become an officer in the government service in an area where the society in which we live will alternatively benefit our country. Charudatta Salunkhe is distinguished by his commitment to the society and the country.
Success in GATE 2020 too -
Charudatta Salukhe set a new record by achieving 48th position in the GATE 2020 examinations held at the all-India level by selecting the technical field while studying government services i.e. competitive examinations. On the strength of this success, he was selected for a research interview at the Bhabha Research Center, which directs the technical field of the entire country.Interview at Bhabha Research Center is considered to be the most difficult in the field of technology research i.e. technical research engineering. Expert interviewers in this field from all over the country select the best such researchers. From the interview which lasted for an hour and a half, Charudatta Salunkhe was selected as a successful researcher.

Preparation for Engineering Service Examination Charudatta also passed the UPSC - IES mains exam. Meanwhile, just a month before the Bhabha Research Center interview and the UPSC Mains exam, Charudatta's father had returned home after a fight with Corona. Taking care of the family without losing his temper even in such a difficult situation, he completed the mains and the preparation for the interview.Meanwhile, he was selected for the Bhabha Research Center (BARC). Just a month later, he qualified for the UPSC interview.
